This pamphlet is ok, but very simple and limited. If your interest in preparedness is this limited, it may be a good choice for you. On the other hand, if you really want some advice on how to survive a grid-down emergency, it's a poor choice.For a few dollars more, I recommend you read Jim Rawles book (linked below). It covers the same material and much more. At the least it will give you some thoughtful reading beyond "buy some candles".How to Survive the End of the World as We Know It: Tactics, Techniques, and Technologies for Uncertain Times
