This item does exactly what it is supposed to. It works well and heats quickly. The only thing a potential buyer should know before hand is that this heater is not like your standard water heater. Instead of one electrical circuit, it requires two. This will not be a direct swap for your old water heater. Do your homework and determine what it is going to take to get power ran to this machine. The water heater utilizes two 2 pole 50A breakers, most standard electric water heaters are a lower amperage which equals a smaller wire. So chances are good, you'll be bringing in two new circuits. The heater is certainly worth it for the space savings, never ending hot water and your utility bill will be lower, but the upgraded electrical will add cost to your installation (and even more if you need to use a contractor).
