I bought this from somewhere else to replace my marshalltown bucket heater (which I bought on amazon) as it quit putting out full power for some reason after 5 months of use. This heater has a better design compared to the bucket heater as the coils are at the bottom, meaning your water level need not be as high to get things started. So far, it is pretty strong and brings water up to the required temperature for sous vide in no time. I have this hooked up to my sousvidemagic controller.
